- On April 11, 2025, a working meeting of Sichuan organizations in South China was held in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, with the theme of“Focusing on Strategic Hinterland Construction - Gathering Efforts for the Future in Both Directions”.
At the meeting, Director Wang Desheng emphasized that in the face of the new situation of opening up and development and the new requirements of deepening reform, Sichuan's “Sichuan Army” needs to unite its efforts and meet the challenges of the future through openness and cooperation. Focusing on the six advantageous industries and 15 key industrial chains, the “Sichuan Army” will be committed to making precise efforts to improve the quality of industries, and promote the high-quality development of Sichuan's economy by attracting foreign headquartered enterprises to invest in Sichuan.
It is worth mentioning that the meeting commended the outstanding units and individuals, and Wang Hui, Executive Vice President of Guangdong Sichuan Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Boyi Air Conditioning, was awarded the title of “2024 Outstanding Entrepreneur of Sichuan in South China”, which not only recognizes his work in the past year, but also sets a role model for other organizations.
